About Us

Mk's Club Mission Statement:

MK's Club is an interdenominational Christian ministry for children of all ages who are on the mission field with their families.
Its vision is to encourage, support and connect missionary children around the world through the Internet.

We have a real heart for seeing missionary kids supported while they are out on the field with their family and also when they come back to their home country be it with their family or on their own for study.

We’d like to see this site used as a place where you can meet other missionary kids and form friendships – it takes one to know one!!! Also where you can post information, Make a blog, prayer needs, chat through the chat room or post forums. Being a club you can also access and post craft ideas, recipes, activities, jokes, etc. So, please enjoy this facility, use it wisely and have fun!

Always remember that wherever you may be around the world and wherever you may like to be that you are always where God wants you to be and He will never leave you!!!

Who runs MK's Club?

Yaron and Becky Overeem

Hi all. Thanks for checking out MK’s Club. Our names are Yaron and Becky Overeem. We have two little girls, Chloe and Sophie. We are currently living in Whangarei, New Zealand.

We are both Primary School teachers. This year 2007, Yaron is working with a cluster of 6 Primary schools teaching their staff how to use their computers more efficiently. Becky is loving being an at home mum to the girls.

We are both MK’s, which is why we have a real understanding about what it is all about. Yaron grew up in YWAM with his parents running and teaching in many of the YWAM bases around New Zealand. Yaron is the middle of 5 children.

Becky grew up in Fiji and the Solomon Islands with her parents who were missionaries with the Assembly of God church in Suva and then worked with the Bible Society of the South Pacific in the Solomon’s. Becky is the oldest of 5 children, all adopted.

We met while doing our teachers training at Bethlehem Institute of Education in Tauranga. Yaron had moved up from Hastings and Becky had come over from the Solomon’s as her family was still living there.
